Jesus the Bread of Life

What we eat & drink will have an effect on our vessel; good and bad. The most important thing for us which causes  us to flourish spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically…is the Bread of Life which is the Word of God.

The Word of God says:

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)

The Word of God is like a nutrient to our lives. The best that anyone can take. I listened once to a recording from Derek Prince where he testified about the Holy Spirit giving Him direction to  meditate on the Word of God three times a day just like a medicine. He said that he had an incurable and undiagnosed skin condition and the word of God was the thing which brought great healing to him.

Consider these scriptures:

My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.

Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.

For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. (Provers 4:21-22)

Living for God also brings good health:

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.(Proverbs 3:5-8)

God knows what is best for us. He created us and wants our vessels to be whole. He makes this clear  here:

…know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19)

This temple can only be whole if we are to truly live the fully live God’s purpose for our lives. The word is truly vital for your Christian development. Without it you are just truly out of balance with all that God wants you to be.

May every suggestion, every revelation handed down from the Holy Spirit and every message from this blog bring you to a greater place of balance in your christian walk.

Post your comments, suggestions tips. We want to hear from you!
