Girls now days so need to know beauty comes from God. Everyone is seeking their identity in every which way! If we just knew who God says we are we would find contentment in Him! Let me know if you come up with ways to teach this to middle schoolers! -Clara

Hi again. They surely don’t know and that’s because media and world teaches the way of the flesh. Many do not know in whom is their identity. We recently started a story book project on beauty for 4-10 year olds. This book shows a character who explains beauty according to 1 Peter 3:-4. For middle schoolers we will have to find a more creative or attractive way to capture them since they are a bit older. Perhaps if there was some game or handson activity on this topic that would be good for them. What about giving them the God’s definition of the word beauty and then giving them the world’s definition and allowing them to do a comparison or rather you teach the comparison. In other words there could be creative cue cards which ask them to define beauty first of foremost. Then you give them cards on what God says. Let this create discussion so that atlas they are activity engaging in the topic of beauty in Christ. The aim at the end is just to simply show them a different way. It could be called identity in Christ. Show them how the world has altered the original view that God has shown them. I feel as if I am rambling a bit, but send us an email @
