In Romans 12: 9, the apostle Paul gives specific direction on how we should love. He says, “Let love be without dissimulation…”

In others words, Paul is telling us to let our love be real. Don’t be hypocritical, Don’t be pretensive. Don’t pretend to “love” someone because you want to appear to be someone’s friend or want to look like good in the sight of others. Don’t be hypocritical.

There are some who would hug you and even kiss you and behind your back they will turn on you. Behind your back they would talk about you.

Paul is telling us today: Let Your Love be Without Pretense, Let Your Love be Without Hypocrisy, for anything else is not the will of God.

Don’t be a hypocrite when we say we love others and we really don’t, that’s not pleasing to God. Don’t put on a show. Don’t allow your soul to go to hell…IS THIS YOUR LOVE?

Proverbs 14: 30 says A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones. Don’t allow your soul to rot. Don’t allow yourself to be sick with the envy which causes your emotions to be twisted.

If this is you today, and your love towards some is with pretense, take it before God today.

He is able to remove everything in you heart which should not be there. Take every issue to the God’s altar because God’s desire if for our love to be true and our hearts to be right…
