….knowing your purpose…

How do you truly walk in purpose if you don’t know what you are here to do?

Everyone knows that if you don’t know what the plan is, you can’t execute it. If you don’t know the directions, you can’t reach the destination. And there is no doubt that if your don’t know your purpose, you can’t walk in it.

Many of us try so hard measure themselves against great preachers, pastors, prophets, apostles, teachers and evangelists around the world. I think that this is the worst thing that anyone can do because every one is called to something different. Every anointing is different and no two persons will have the identical purpose even though you may have a similar calling.

Not everyone is called to be a “big name” in this nation and around the world, but everyone is called to execute the perfect will of God.

I believe that God’s purpose for the Christian is made clear in the Word of God as follows:

…The Great Commission

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:16-20  NIV)

Have you been walking in purpose?
